Inside Ardlamont

I’ve been looking for a way to link this dead end forestry track into a circular route for a while and this new path is the answer! With the addition of a quad track then a small path you can pop out right at Ostal bay. Most of the offroad section of this route is pretty decent forestery track but the last 500m is a path which is perfectly cyclable but be cautious of the sharp turns and stumps. Its The track starts with amazing views both ways down the kyles and then over Ostal bay towards Kintyre and Arran.

Directions

Start at the golf course turn in. Follow this track turning right then through the course, continuing through a gate uphill before leaving the golf course figure of 8 and taking a right. Take another right before a left, right then finally a right, staying on the main track. When this track ends take the small dirt track carrying on in the same direction. When it splits take the left hand split which will take you down to the road with the track narrowing to a path. Here you can either go left, via Carry farm, or right, which is faster, via Millhouse. Going right you take a right at Milhouse crossroads leading you back to the start.
